2022 Round 10 Trucks Results
Truck Series Recap:
Nashville Fairgrounds would host round 10 of the Affinity Constructions Truck Series on Monday night. Dave Douglas, fastest of the drivers through qualifying secured Pole Position over Luke Trahair in the 130 lap event.
Douglas pulled away at the green flag and was able to dominate the first half of the race bringing the top 5 with him as the field spread out of the course of near 60 laps until the first caution fell.
Andrew Dyson used some strategy to get through the field staying out while the field pitted under yellow. The lead didn't last too long as Douglas was able to take back control shortly after but the move put Dyson in good position as the race slowed down with yellows at the back end.
Douglas continued to pace the field through the closing stages and seemed destined to win until a late race caution flag flew which once again jumbled up the running order as Dyson elected to stay out while the leaders pitted again.
On the final restart Dyson pulled out a lead but Douglas came charging back with the two running side by side in the final laps. Some rubbins racin' on the final lap wasn't enough to stop Dysons momentum however, as he rounded Turn 4 with the lead and ran it back to the checkered flag!
