Truck Series Recap:

The midway point of the 2022 season kicked off on Monday in the Affinity Constructions Truck Series with a 100 lap race at Nashville Superspeedway where 20 drivers lined up on the grid led by Jason Martin and Hamish Gallagher.

It was a quick race which went green flag from start to finish and not too much action up the front as the field spread out. Martin led for much of the first stint with green flag pit stops occurring at about the 40 lap mark. Ryan Jones was one of the first leaders to come down pit lane while Gallagher was one of the last to come in which worked out well as he was able to pass Martin with about 20 laps to go to secure the victory. Martin finished in 2nd place, Ryan Jones held steady for 3rd, Jaiden Russell came home in 4th after getting involved in a little scrap and damaging his truck and Danny G would round out the top 5 where he started in 5th.
