Truck Series Recap:

On Monday night the ANZCAR Truck Series hit up Dover Speedway for round 8 of Season 3. Ruben Phelps taking out Pole with Jason Martin in 2nd place.

A tight battle for the championship with only 4 races to go would prove pretty important as the season wound down. Phelps grabbed an important point leading the first 10 laps before Martin went for the lead gaining himself a bonus point too. Martin started to pull away from there and was out to a good sized lead by lap 30.

On lap 65 Martin headed for pit road which brought the rest of the leaders with him under green flag and the race would continue to run green until the end. Phelps had some work to do after the pit stop to get back up front which was able to just 10 laps after the pit stop on lap 75. From there Phelps would have to hold off Martin who rarely left his back bumper. The two fought furiously to the checkered flag but Phelps was too good with his defence, claiming the victory!
