Gen4 Series Recap:

On Monday night the Gen4 series kicked off for the ANZCAR lightning rounds at Daytona SuperSpeedway. Ryan Jones qualified 1st and managed to lead the early laps until Christopher Ireland took the lead on lap 5. It was another clean Lightning Series race which saw no yellow flags and drivers having to navigate green flag pit stops. The race eventually came down a two lane shootout where Jones led the inside lane and Ireland the outside. The lanes stayed clean and a helpful push from Shayne Bowen to Jones on the inside saw the #11 push through turn 3 and have enough momentum to get to the chequered flag!
