Legends Series Recap:

Round 2 of the Lightning Rounds Legends Series took place at Rockingham Speedway where 19 entries lined up for the nights 150 lap race. Andrew Dyson topped the qualifying chart along with Ryan Jones in 2nd. 

The race started clean as Dyson led the first lap of the race before Edward Foster took the lead on lap 2, Dave Douglas and Garry Wellman filled out the top 3 as the front row backed up into the top 10 . Green flag racing continued and on lap 20 Foster had driven out to a 1.5s second lead. Some hard racing in 2nd caused Wellman to go sideways which checked up the field and put Foster out to a 3 second lead, Jones had driven into 2nd place around lap 30 and started to run the leader down at times but by lap 50 it was Foster with a 3.3s lead.

At the halfway mark a number of drivers had dropped out of the race after putting it into the wall and Foster had driven out to a 6.5s lead over Jones still in 2nd, Dyson was back up into 3rd 8.5s back. The halfway mark also started a sequence of green flag pit stops which lasted to about lap 85 and Foster had popped out into a 15s lead. The race continued its green flag run and a couple more drivers found the wall and called it a day by lap 130. Foster had maintained his 15s advantage over Jones, Steven Williams now occupied 3rd place.  But nobody was able to match Foster as he put on one of the more dominant performances in ANZCAR racing to take the win!
