Legends Series Recap:

Tonight saw the ANZCAR Legends tackle on Phoenix Raceway for Round 4 of the Lightning Rounds where 11 drivers took to a very hot track after sitting out last weeks race due to iRacing Maintenance. Kayd Donnelly took Pole alongside Edward Foster. Foster jumped into the early lead off Turn 2 before an early yellow flag on lap 3. Foster started to pull away during the next run until a crash on lap 16 occurred taking out a couple of drivers. As the race got underway after a brief 2nd caution Foster sped out to a quick lead again as Shayne Bowen and Garry Wellman tried to run him down. at the 1/3 mark, Foster was out a 7 second lad over Bowen, Ben Heneker, Norman Clark and Karl Withey.

The field powered on over halfway and through their green flag pit stops and on lap 110 Foster was out to a 19s lead over Bowen who was all but the last car left on the lead lap. The deed was done with about 10 laps to go though as Edward lapped the field and took off to victory!
