Gen6 Series Recap:

On Monday night the Gen6 Series tour moved on to Kentucky Speedway for 130 laps. A short field of 9 entries lined the grid led by Steven Williams on Pole and Shayne Bowen on the outside. Williams pulled away once the race went green and the racing was pretty clean with the short field. Williams led up until his green flag pit stop on lap 48 before cycling the lead over to Shayne Bowen. A late caution flag did fly with 15 laps to go when Williams collected the outside wall off of Turn 2 and was sent spinning down the backstretch from the race lead. This handed the lead over to Barry Neale with 10 laps to go who was able to hold the rest of the field off by about half a second as he wound down the laps and crossed the line with the race win!
