2022 Round Trucks Results
Truck Series Recap:
Round 6 of the Affinity Constructions Truck Series took place on Monday night for the seasons road course round. A shorter field which we generally see at road course races, 23 would be road aces lined the grid with Andrew Dyson topping the charts followed by team mate Dylan O'Shea.
It was a nice clean start to the race as the DPR boys took off into the first hairpin while the field, 3 wide at times, funnelled themselves through the opening corners. O'Shea came out with the lead after two corners and managed to hold the lead for half of the first lap before Dyson made a move for the lead at the end of the back stretch.
From there the race spread out as we so often see with small battles and packs down the order that managed to last until the very end. O'Shea was able to lead some laps during the race pit stop cycle but eventually handed the lead back over to Dyson with 3 laps remaining. Down the order Edward Foster, Jaiden Russell, Hamish Gallagher and Luke Trahair were able to pull themselves out of battles and log laps until the end.
With the race won and done for team DPR, Dyson was able to show pony his #41 Southwell/Phoenix Chevy Silverado around the track, putting on an impressive drifting show en route to the checkered flag, O'Shea watching the show through his windshield!
